We recently dispensed this Energy Storing and Return AFO (ESR-AFO) with a heel wedge, designed to provide support while helping promote a more efficient and stable walking pattern.
The energy-storing design helps manage forces through the gait cycle, while the heel wedge allows us to fine-tune the AFO-footwear combination to better support the individual’s alignment and walking needs. 💙
